Volunteering for WAB

WAB is very proud of its volunteers. At the moment we have over 360 people who are helping WAB offer services to blind and partially sighted people.  Volunteers now have their own newsletter (see News and Events)Elaine Ball Community Development OfficerElaine Ball Community Development Officer

Anyone is welcome to volunteer for WAB subject to satisfactory references and CRB checks for some roles, no formal qualifications are needed. The time you spend is flexible to suit you. Some of our current volunteers work only a few hours a week whilst others work almost every day. We pay travel expenses so volunteering does not have to cost you anything.  If you have time to spare you can change the life of a visually impaired person, for more information contact Elaine Ball.

It may even change your life, especially if you are looking for a career change, want to develop and gain experience in new skills, make new friends, meet some amazing people and have some fun.
