WE NEED YOUR HELP

The work of the Association falls into two sections, Rehabilitation and Support. The funding for the Rehabilitation work is provided by Warwickshire County Council by virtue of our Service Level Agreement. The funding of the Support services is entirely dependent upon donations.

A very important part of our obtaining donations are Street and Store collections. Besides being a source of obtaining money from the general public it also raises our profile and gives us an opportunity to tell people about us and the support we can offer to all blind and partially sighted people in Warwickshire.

We experience great difficulty in recruiting volunteers to assist with these collections and I am asking for your help. I am asking for help from all members of the Association and your Children, Grandchildren or Friends. Collections take place in summer or autumn each year.

If you are a club member, your Club will benefit by being given half of the monies collected in your area. This will mean that you will see an immediate increase in your Club funds.

It is essential that you give us your help as without funding the services offered will have to be adjusted to suit the monies available and I am sure that nobody will wish for that to happen.

If you can help  or if you require further information, please contact me, Elaine or Clare at the WAB office.

Please do not assume that we will receive many offers of help, it is essential we receive your offer of help.

Please check our fundraising calendar and volunteer in 2010.

Contact Peter, Elaine or Clare at WAB on 01926 411331

We are grateful for  donations received recently as shown on our fundraising page.
