The De Montfort Talking Book Service (DTBS) provides books in cassette form for blind and partially sighted people in Warwickshire.

This service was previously a partnership between Warwickshire Association for the Blind and Warwickshire County Libraries but as from 1st April 2010 it has been run by volunteers.  New users are recommended to use the Calibre or RNIB audio libraries which are able to provide a more comprehensive service.

It is a free service with no membership fee.

• The service has a broad range of books that are professionally recorded and playable on a standard audio cassette player .

• The books cover a wide variety of catalogues and are nearly all unabridged.

• The cassette tapes are delivered to you at home through the post free of charge by Royal Mail.

• We have a very fast turnaround, when you return a book to us another one is issued on the same day.

• New titles are added to the collection on a regular basis.
