Fundraising

Fundraising is a vital part of our work.  Without it we would not be able to support the many activities listed on this website which improve the lives of residents of Warwickshire with sight problems. Visit the About WAB and History of WAB pages for further information about our organisation and press the Visually Impaired Button to see the practical work that we do. Please support our good work, on1.4.2008 WAB became a limited company led by Directors/Trustees and run to good business standards.  Please consider hosting Visual Impairment Awareness presentations or training at any groups or organisations you are involved with.

Official bodies making grants should contact the Manager (John Davis) at WAB.  Corporate bodies and individuals are encouraged to make donations.  Individuals are encouraged to leave bequests.

Local communities and stores  allow us to make collections which raised significant amounts during 2009.  Please help us with our collections in 2010.

We are grateful to the following for donations received recently:

E.J.Grifiths Trust
The estate of the late Mr Antony Hessey
Personal donation from Mr Snead, trustee of Bowden & Draycott (used to be called Poor's Plot or Fuel Allotment)
 WPH Charitable Trust
 Nuneaton Lions
 Rugby and Dunsmore Rotary Club
 Orbit Community Investment
Napton Annual Bike Ride
