The Royal Yachting Association helps disabled people sail regularly. Blind Golf enables people to play golf.
Concessions are sometimes available for people with
disabilities, e.g. two for the price of one at participating
cinemas, RSC in Stratford £12 see http://www.rsc.org.uk/WhatsOn/2699.aspx for facilities. A list of audio-described performances for the 2010 season is now available from RSCor from their website.
In Coventry, all Belgrade Theatre productions and many visiting productions are supported by captioning or sign language interpreters and are also audio-described. We also have access to large print, Braille and audio versions of our brochure available on request.

National Trust publish a very good access guide in large print, there is a copy in the WAB office and it can be obtained from members services or as a pdf from the link above.
The Cinema Exhibitors Association Card is a national card scheme allowing carers to get into cinemas free.
Thrive, the National Blind Gardeners' Club gives gardening advice, publishes a magazine available in several formats and runs a 'Blind Gardener of the Year 'competition.
