Information Officer

Hello.  My name is Sue Morris and for the last seven years I have been the Co-ordinator for the Warwickshire Talking Books Service at Kenilworth Library, a post that I thoroughly enjoyed.
When WAB decided to discontinue the Service due to advanced technology outdating  it, I was offered this new post of Information Officer.

Bringing Art to Life

describers that will bring some of the most popular exhibits to life.

Several Art Gallery & Museum staff are undertaking specialist training
in order to present engaging and dynamic audio descriptions of the
artworks. Each event will focus on a specific artwork including a 10
minute talk to provide the context for the piece and an audio

Your views on cinema access

The UK Film Council would like to hear YOUR VIEWS on cinema access...

The UK leads the world in 'accessible' cinema. More than 300 cinemas can screen the latest films with audio description, to enable people with sight loss to enjoy the big screen experience.

In 2003 the UK Film Council helped to kick-start this revolution in cinema access with grant schemes to help fund subtitle & audio description equipment & films.
