WAB was inaugurated at a meeting held in Leamington Town Hall at 3pm on June 2nd 1911. 

We are fortunate to have a complete transcript of the meeting from the archives of the Leamington Courier. 

To celebrate the event we performed a play based on the original  meeting in the Assembly Room at the Town Hall.  The Town Hall itself was opened in 1884 and the Assembly Room room is decorated in the original style with a lot of the original furniture still available.  It was performed  by ACT,  Amateur Community Theatre Group and followed by “Afternoon Tea”, at The Assembly Room
